Websense (WBSN) Downgraded by Zacks Investment Research

Websense (NASDAQ: WBSN) was downgraded by Zacks Investment Research from an “outperform” rating to a “neutral” rating in a research note issued on Thursday.

Separately, analysts at Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) downgraded shares of Websense from an “outperform” rating to a “market perform” rating in a research note to investors on Wednesday. Analysts at First Analysis downgraded shares of Websense from an “overweight” rating to an “equal weight” rating in a research note to investors on Wednesday. Also, analysts at FBR Capital (NASDAQ: FBCM) cut their price target on shares of Websense from $23.00 to $20.00 in a research note to investors on Wednesday. They now have a “market perform” rating on the stock.

Websense, Inc. is a provider of information technology (IT) security solutions, including Web security (including malware detection and removal), data security and e-mail security solutions. The Company’s solutions are available as software installed on standard server hardware, as software pre-installed on optimized appliances, and as a software as a service offering (SaaS). Its products and services are sold to enterprises, small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), and Internet service providers through a network of value-added resellers and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) arrangements. The Company’s products protect data and users from threats to information security and productivity loss and can be grouped into three categories: Web security (uniform resource locator (URL) filtering and real-time scanning of Web traffic), data security (its data loss prevention (DLP) offering), and e-mail and messaging security.
